Half Whiskey Barrel Coffee Table

This item is a great piece for the living room or bar room.  We use an authentic whiskey barrel and cut it in half.  Then we add a 26″ round oak top to it and fasten it down to the top.  We plug the holes with oak buttons and sand them to blend them into the original top.  We can just do a polyurethane finish to the barrel and stain the oak to closely match the barrel, do an chestnut stain, or a dark walnut stain to this item.  Polyurethane is applied to the whole item.  The top will be very smooth to touch with an excellent polyurethane finish. Height will be about 18″ tall +/- 1 inch.
